CONSULTATION

What happens during the free consultation?

We discuss your project needs, budget, and timeline, and I get a feel for your message/brand.

What happens after the consultation?

With the go-ahead, I’ll put together a proposal for your writing needs and get it to you within 2 business days of our consultation.

What happens after I pick a proposal?

I put together a contract and send it your way within 2 business days of your proposal choice. After you sign the contract, I’ll get started on the work. If you are paying a flat fee, I’ll begin work after I receive your 50% deposit.


COMMUNICATION AND TIMELINES

How much communication do you offer during this process?

I keep you informed during each checkpoint for your project. We determine checkpoints as outlined in the proposal and contract you sign before we begin work.

*I’m always available for updates and to discuss changes with you throughout the process. You have the final say in work you are having me do, so I value your communication during the process so I can make sure I’m delivering writing you love.

What is your time frame for completing projects?

The time frame for your project is determined during out consultation and finalized in the proposal and contract depending on your needs and how long the project will take me. I have never missed a deadline to date.


PAYMENTS                                

When and how do I pay?

  • Hourly rates: per week or bi-weekly

  • Flat fee projects: a 50% deposit is required for work and the rest upon final deliverables

  • Retainer fee: per month

  • Word count rates: per week or bi-weekly


RETURNS

What if I don’t like your services?

I value open communication, so please open a dialogue with me about what is missing or what you aren’t liking so we can fix it. You always have the right to discontinue services, but you do pay for work I have done up to the date you discontinue service.
